About Me
I have over 20 years of experience building and leading technical teams. I’ve delivered over 150 product releases and platform launches at scale in very complex organizational environments. I published The Shadow Balance: The Technology Leader’s Guide to the Hidden Costs and Risks of AI in September 2026 . My academic background includes dual degrees in Computer Engineering and English Literature from Queen’s University, and my professional contributions have been recognized with the Ottawa Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 award.
Throughout my career, I’ve built teams, guided investments, aligned organizations, and kept my clients and users at the forefront of everything I do. I’ve worked for a variety of industries, including software, health care, logistics, mining, energy, video production and broadcast. I believe in the power of teams, continuous improvement, and I’m dedicated to creating environments where teams can thrive and deliver their best work.
I’m proud to be an active Professional Engineer and an active member of the Agile, SAFe and Product Management associations in Ottawa. I’ve also contributed to the organizing of several local conferences, including the Gatineau Ottawa Agile Tour 2026.
Outside of my professional pursuits, I enjoys spending time outdoors and have volunteered with Girl Guides for almost 20 years.
